Prior to Art Center he received an Associates degree in studio arts from College of the Canyons in Valencia, CA. While attending COC he took other selected courses at Art Center at Night to study transportation and product design. In 2004 he took a graphic design class and learned the benefit of combining typographical design and layout with unique skills of transportation design. This discovery inspired him to seek a new level in communication design. In the Summer of 2009, Andrew Tan graduated with honors and currently resides in Los Angeles where he freelances as a designer or animator.
